Travel trade
For agents and tour operators
The licensing, operational and welfare detail your product team asks for, in one place.
We are a ground operator in Sabah, not a reseller. We plan and run tailor-made wildlife journeys across the interior forests, the Kinabatangan and the east coast, and we work with European operators and agents on a bespoke, per-client basis rather than a fixed series.
This page exists because a supplier file needs answers before a conversation is worth having. Where a value is not published below, ask and we will send it — including the documents you need for your own due diligence.

How we work with the trade
- Tailor-made, per client
- Send us the brief — dates, party size, walking ability, target species — and we return a costed day-by-day itinerary. We do not publish a series and we do not ask you to sell one.
- Small parties
- Several of the places we operate in have few beds and controlled access. That limits party sizes and it limits how much we can hold. We would rather tell your team that at brief stage than at deposit stage.
- Seasonality is real here
- River levels, road condition into the interior and the wetter months all decide what a fortnight can hold. We will tell you when a requested date is a bad idea, and why, rather than sell it and hope.
- Your client relationship stays yours
- We do not market to your clients, before or after travel.
Our codes
Commitments, not marketing. If your supplier questionnaire asks, this is the answer.
-
No guaranteed sightings, in any material
Nothing we write for you, and nothing we ask you to publish, will promise a client a particular animal. We will tell your team what is likely, what is possible and what would be remarkable, and we would rather lose a booking than set up a complaint.
-
No great-ape contact
No handling, no feeding and no touching of orangutans or any other great ape on any journey we arrange, including at rehabilitation centres. Observation at a proper distance only. If your own supplier code requires this in writing, it is here in writing.
-
No orphanage or school visits
We do not build visits to orphanages, children’s homes or schools into itineraries, and we will not arrange one on request.
-
Accommodation described as it is
Several of the places we operate in are research stations rather than lodges. Where a room is fan-cooled, or the generator is switched off overnight, your client will have that in writing before they book. Your team will never be the last to know.
-
Certification attributed to whoever holds it
We name a certificate only where it exists and we say who holds it. The Imbak Canyon Studies Centre, for example, holds GSTC Hotel Criteria certification, reference HAVR220109, awarded December 2022. That certificate belongs to the centre. It is not ours and we do not present it as ours.
Contracting and data
- Who contracts the traveller
- Where you sell our services into the United Kingdom or the European Union, the organiser obligations under the Package Travel Directive rest with the party that contracts the traveller. We are happy to settle that in the agency agreement rather than leave it assumed, and to supply whatever supporting documentation your legal team needs.
- Client data
- Enquiries submitted on this site go directly to our own mailbox. There is no third-party form processor, marketing platform or CRM in the chain. Passenger details you send us are used to operate the journey and are not sold, shared for marketing, or passed to anyone outside the operation of that journey. Full detail is in our privacy notice.
- Documentation for your file
- Licence, company registration, insurance certificates and our written codes are available for your supplier file on request.
